Promoting the strength of national solidarity in the new term in Khanh Hoa

On December 5, the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Khanh Hoa province, term 2025-2030. Attending were representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and 388 delegates, representatives of all walks of life, ethnic groups and religions in the province.

At the congress, delegates presented many important papers, focusing on evaluating more clearly the outstanding results of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Opinions emphasized the effectiveness of monitoring, social criticism, propaganda and mobilization work for ethnic minorities to eliminate backward customs, preserve cultural identity, and implement livelihood support models associated with the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021-2030 period, phase I: from 2021 to 2025.

At the congress, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy emphasized that Khanh Hoa was formed on the basis of merging Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces, possessing many strategic advantages, believing that by 2030, Khanh Hoa will become a centrally-run city, an international sea tourism service center, a national and regional data center, and one of the important growth poles of the country.

The Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requested the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province to continue to thoroughly grasp the viewpoint "People are the root", strongly arouse the spirit of patriotism, self-reliance, aspiration to build a rich and beautiful homeland, gather and promote the strength of great national unity, create social consensus to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Regarding the damage caused by the recent historic floods, the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central organizations expressed their deep sympathy with Khanh Hoa province. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Central Relief Mobilization Committee decided to support 35 billion VND from the Central Relief Fund to help the province overcome the consequences of natural disasters, soon restore production and stabilize people's lives.

In his speech directing the congress, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh acknowledged and commended the important contributions of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations during the past term. In the face of many difficulties, the entire political system has united and made efforts to achieve many outstanding achievements: the economy maintained high growth, transport infrastructure was invested synchronously, provincial planning was effectively implemented, and people's lives were increasingly improved.

The Fatherland Front at all levels closely accompanies Party committees and authorities to innovate the content and methods of mobilization, create consensus in implementing large projects, improve the effectiveness of supervision and social criticism, and effectively carry out social security work. The "For the poor" campaign has mobilized many resources, supported the repair and construction of nearly 3,000 houses, reaching the finish line 6 months ahead of the plan assigned by the Central Government.

The Congress took place in the context of Khanh Hoa facing an important opportunity to make a strong breakthrough according to Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo on building and developing the province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. To realize the goal of turning Khanh Hoa into a centrally-run city, the Provincial Fatherland Front identified the key task as continuing to consolidate and expand the great national unity bloc; innovating working methods; improving the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism; contributing to building a constructive, honest, people-friendly and people-serving government.
