Kinhtedothi – On the evening of November 12th, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Nguyen Van Phong, attended the National Unity Day celebration at residential group 15 and 16 in Buoi Ward, Tay Ho District.
Also attending were Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Hoa, Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City; leaders of Tay Ho district; and a large number of people from all walks of life in the area.
At the event, Ms. Phung Thi Trong, Secretary of the Party Branch of Residential Area 15, stated that residential areas 15 and 16 currently have a total of 1,024 households with 3,328 residents and 224 Party members. Over the years, the Front Committee of Residential Areas 15 and 16 in Buoi Ward has promoted the strength of unity and the self-governance of the people, mobilizing them to build a cultural life in the residential area, and working together to effectively implement emulation movements and campaigns…

In 2024, the Front Committees 15 and 16, in coordination with the residential groups and mass organizations, successfully organized longevity celebrations for 104 elderly people; effectively carried out the work of caring for policy beneficiary families, organized gratitude ceremonies for families of war invalids, martyrs, and meritorious families; visited and presented gifts to people with disabilities, orphans, elderly people over 80 years old, and sick people with particularly difficult circumstances on holidays...

In addition, the Front Committee No. 15 and 16 coordinated with the branches of mass organizations in the residential area to effectively implement the campaign to build national unity, following the directives from the ward Party Committee to the residential area Party branches, receiving high consensus from the people. Models such as "Women's Group" and "Solidarity Group" have fostered unity, care, and assistance for member families during times of bereavement or celebration.
In addition, cultural, artistic, and sports activities are well maintained. The arts club of residential areas 15 and 16 holds weekly meetings and participates in performances at community and ward events with many outstanding acts…

Speaking at the event, on behalf of the city's leadership, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Nguyen Van Phong, extended his best wishes to the residents of residential groups 15 and 16 in Buoi Ward, Tay Ho District, hoping that the residential groups would continue to uphold their tradition of unity and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, this year's National Unity Day is being held in the sacred space of Trích Sài village communal house, a very significant historical and cultural relic of Hanoi, in commemoration of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front and, more recently, the grand celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi.
"Seventy years of development is not a long time compared to the thousand-year history of Thang Long - Hanoi, but this is a proud period of history in the Ho Chi Minh era. The grand celebration is also an opportunity for us to acknowledge and evaluate the efforts of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the Capital City with the important achievements made to bring the Capital City to its important role and position today," the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized.
Praising, acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of Tay Ho district in choosing the right direction to develop the culture and people of Tay Ho in parallel with socio-economic development and doing well in Party building, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong affirmed that these results have clearly demonstrated the cultural identity of Tay Ho. He believes and hopes that Tay Ho district will promote extensive propaganda so that all classes of people in the district clearly understand the city's policies on developing the culture and people of Hanoi in the flow of Thang Long culture.

Emphasizing that, in the new planning of Hanoi, Tay Ho district will be the new cultural center of the capital, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee expressed joy and excitement at the important and comprehensive results that residential groups 15 and 16 and Tay Ho district have achieved in implementing political tasks, building national unity, and creating high consensus in implementing local targets and tasks.
According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Nguyen Van Phong, developing Hanoi's culture, history, and people will be one of the important pillars of the capital in the future. He expressed his confidence and hope that the Party committees and authorities of Tay Ho district will continue to widely disseminate this policy of the city to all levels of the people, thereby clearly defining the responsibility of each citizen of Tay Ho in promoting traditional cultural and historical values.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong also hopes that Tay Ho district, Buoi ward and the people of residential groups 15 and 16 will continue to preserve, renovate and conserve historical relics in the area, contributing to the development of cultural industry and preserving heritage for future generations. At the same time, he hopes that the Party committees, authorities and people of Tay Ho district will pay attention to overcoming limitations and shortcomings in preserving urban civilization to achieve high results on the Great Unity Day in 2025.
In addition, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Nguyen Van Phong, also requested that neighborhood groups continue to promote grassroots movements and build a more beautiful urban environment and neighborhood landscape. This will contribute to building a more civilized and modern Hanoi in the eyes of both residents and tourists.

On this occasion, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Nguyen Van Phong, on behalf of the city's leaders, presented gifts to the people of residential areas 15 and 16 in Buoi Ward, Tay Ho District; and presented gifts and commended the exemplary cultural families of 2024 in the residential area.
Also at the event, Tay Ho district presented gifts to residential areas No. 15 and 16, as well as to families with particularly difficult circumstances in the area.
