Representing the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union were Comrade Le Van Luong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, and other members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, and the members of the delegation, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - expressed his affection, recognition, and encouragement to the youth members of the province; and congratulated them on the achievements they have made in the past.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed confidence and hope that the youth union members of the province would continue to strive for success and contribute even more achievements to the revolutionary cause of our country; increasingly affirming the very important role of union members in particular and the revolutionary youth force in general.
"Comrades, you will certainly remain the vanguard, loyal and highly reliable force of the Party in all revolutionary movements, first and foremost in Nghe An," the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed.
In particular, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong expressed his hope that the youth union members of the province would continue to play an even more important role, building a truly outstanding and bright image in local movements for socio-economic development and building a new, more prosperous and happy life in all parts of the province; making a worthy contribution to building the political system, especially building the Party as an important reserve force of the Party.
"I wish all comrades, every Youth Union member, and every young person to mature in their work and strive to become outstanding Youth Union members, excellent Party cadres, and sons and daughters who are absolutely trusted by the people," Comrade Nguyen Van Thong stated.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and its members, Comrade Le Van Luong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union - respectfully thanked the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the members of the delegation for their profound attention to the Youth Union organization, its cadres, and its members, and for their special affection on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Youth Union.
Reporting on the implementation of key tasks in the 2024 Youth Month plan, Comrade Le Van Luong stated: The Nghe An Provincial Youth Union hosted the launching ceremony of the "Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho" organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Nghe An province, combined with the nationwide Youth Month campaign.
Subsequently, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union promptly implemented key tasks according to the plan, mainly focusing on carrying out projects and activities during peak periods, including: the peak day for youth volunteers building civilized urban areas; the Green Sunday associated with the peak period for building new rural areas; and the peak day for Youth Union members to carry out recreational and extracurricular activities for Youth Union members in areas and places without a Youth Union organization but with Youth Union members.
During Youth Month, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union also organized the commendation of outstanding young Party members in 2023, awarded the Ly Tu Trong Prize at the provincial level to Youth Union officials; and presented awards to individuals and groups who achieved high rankings in the "Proud of Our Homeland" campaign.
Expressing sincere gratitude for the recognition, appreciation, and trust placed in the younger generation in general, and the Youth Union cadres in particular, by the provincial leaders, the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union shared that the Youth Union and its members deeply understand that, in order to successfully complete the assigned tasks, the prerequisite is to consistently adhere to the leadership, guidance, and direction of the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee; to closely coordinate with departments and agencies inside and outside the province; and to gather additional resources and support from the people, Youth Union members, and young people.
“We sincerely and fully absorb the directives, guidance, and suggestions of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to concretize them into our work program, implement projects, products, and activities of the youth, so as not to betray the trust and expectations of the comrades in the Youth Union organization,” Comrade Le Van Luong stated, expressing his hope to continue receiving attention and support so that Youth Union members and young people have more opportunities to contribute and grow further.
