(GLO) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just directed the Ministry of Transport to urgently coordinate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and relevant agencies and localities to implement the expressway project section through Hai Phong and Ninh Binh.
On June 28, the Government Office issued Official Letter No. 4764/VPCP-CN conveying the opinion of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on the investment plan for the construction of the Ninh Binh-Hai Phong expressway, the section passing through Hai Phong and Ninh Binh.

Specifically, the Ministry of Transport is the managing agency for the investment and construction project of the Ninh Binh-Hai Phong expressway, specifically the section passing through Hai Phong City and the section passing through Ninh Binh Province.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha instructed the Ministry of Transport to urgently coordinate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and relevant agencies and localities to implement the project in accordance with the law.
According to the Road Network Planning for the period 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1454/QD-TTg dated September 1, 2021, the Ninh Binh-Hai Phong Expressway (CT.08) has a length of approximately 109 km and belongs to the group of expressways in the northern region. The project starts at the Eastern North-South Expressway in Ninh Binh City and ends at the Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway, with a cross-section of 4 lanes, and is scheduled for investment before 2030.
