BIDV Deputy General Director Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao received the award "Dynamic, creative and responsible female union member"

On October 15, 2025, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace ( Hanoi ), the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will solemnly hold the first "Award for Dynamic, Creative, and Responsible Female Trade Union Members" in 2025, honoring 10 outstanding individuals nationwide. Simultaneously, a summary and awards ceremony will be held to recognize the achievements of the "Excellent in National Service, Competent in Household Management" emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.

This is the first time the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has organized a separate award to honor outstanding female union members who demonstrate courage, intelligence, innovative spirit, and responsibility in their work, while also preserving and nurturing family happiness – a vivid embodiment of Vietnamese women in the new era.

Among the outstanding individuals honored this time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao - a trade union member and Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) - is the only female representative from the banking sector to receive this prestigious award. This is well-deserved recognition for her outstanding contributions in her professional work, trade union activities, and her pioneering role as a female leader in the finance and banking sector.

With over 25 years of dedication to BIDV, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao is not only known as a capable, insightful, and innovative manager, but also as someone who consistently fosters a spirit of responsibility, creativity, and humanism among the staff and employees. Under her leadership, many digital transformation programs, management innovations, and customer-friendly product and service development initiatives have been effectively implemented, contributing to BIDV's continued position as a leading bank in Vietnam.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao participates in social welfare activities, donating a school to children in remote areas.

Besides her dedication to her work, Ms. Quynh Giao is also a model female official in the "Excellent in work, capable in home life" movement - always balancing career and life, serving as a source of moral support for her colleagues, and a role model of the modern woman: dynamic, strong-willed, yet retaining her gentleness and compassion.
