Women in the People's Public Security Force shine at the Ao Dai Festival celebrating International Women's Day on March 8th.

NDO - On the morning of March 8th, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, the Traditional Ao Dai Festival of the People's Public Security Force took place within the framework of the "Glory of the Vietnamese People's Public Security" music gala program. This event commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and was organized by the Ministry of Public Security .

The music gala program is also an activity to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the People's Public Security studying and implementing the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2025), and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for Protecting National Security (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), taking place in the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian area on March 8 and 9.

General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security Ministry, and Deputy Minister of Public Security, delivered the opening speech at the festival, emphasizing the important role of women in the People's Public Security Force in protecting social security and order, and contributing to the country's development.

The program attracted the attention of leaders from the professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of Hanoi city, representatives of the United Nations and embassies.

The Ao Dai Festival presented impressive performances, praising the glorious Party, the great President Ho Chi Minh, and honoring the contributions of Vietnamese women in the cause of national defense.
