The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to ensure a balance between supply and demand of goods and to organize regional linkages, promotion, and connectivity between Hanoi and other provinces and cities in the field of Industry and Trade in 2024.
The implementation plan includes: Organizing activities to connect the consumption of agricultural products and goods in provinces, cities, and key economic regions nationwide; conducting market surveys and connecting products from provinces to the distribution system in Hanoi. In addition, it will organize the 2024 Fruit and Agricultural Product Fair and Week; the Hanoi pavilion will participate in the Trade and Industry Exhibition, events within the framework of the Festival, and conferences of the Industry and Trade sector in various regions, provinces, and cities (organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the provinces and cities)...
Regarding this matter, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan province to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to implement the above plan effectively, aiming to promote economic growth. Simultaneously, it aims to ensure a balance between supply and demand, stabilize the market, curb inflation, stimulate consumer demand, and boost the consumption of goods. Recently, the provincial authorities have also requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Management Board of Industrial Parks, the Cooperative Alliance, and the Binh Thuan Business Association to cooperate in providing information to production and business establishments under their management to register for participation. For supermarkets, shopping malls, export businesses, and those distributing and trading essential goods in the locality, they should study the content of the Hanoi City People's Committee's plan to proactively participate when needed.
It is understood that this plan is also aimed at supporting businesses, cooperatives, and farmers in provinces and cities to understand market supply and demand in order to proactively organize the production and business of essential agricultural products, seafood, fruits, OCOP products, etc. In addition, it supports the promotion of brands and products to consumers and distribution units so that they are aware of, prioritize, choose, connect with, and consume them, gradually gaining and establishing a foothold in the domestic market. Furthermore, it aims to strengthen connections with the purchasing departments of some foreign distribution channels (Central Group, Aeon, Lotte, etc.) to export goods and support the connection of product consumption between Hanoi and other localities.
