Nature has blessed Thuan An, Tam Hai commune (Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province) with the scenic Ban Than - Hon Mang - Hon Dua islands and a rich and diverse flora and fauna around the island. This is an advantage for the local government and people to develop unique and distinctive tourism products.
Following the cliffs around the Ban Than mountain pass towards the black rock formations rising high into the sea (locals call them Ong Dun - Ba Che), one feels as if they are merging with nature and the sky. The rocks here are artfully arranged, blending with the waves, the sea, and the golden sun to create a magnificent natural landscape.
From the perspective of Ong Dun - Ba Che, it seems as though all the "specialties" of this place can be seen. These include the towering rock formations battered by waves, the lush green Hon Mang - Hon Dua islands in the distance, the colorful coral reefs stretching around the island, and the bustling activity of the islanders at sea...
Ban Than is an ancient sea terrace located northeast of Tam Hai commune. Hon Mang, approximately 2 hectares in size, is only about 400 meters from Ban Than; while Hon Dua, over 11 hectares in size, is 700 meters from Ban Than.
