Kinhtedothi-The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just announced a new tourism development corridor called "Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Route".
On March 8th, at the Dong Giang Heaven's Gate Eco-tourism Area, the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee organized the Quang Nam International Tourism Conference 2025.
Speaking at the workshop, Quang Nam Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet stated that the tourism industry needs to continue to organize effectively and extensively, and propose solutions to create breakthroughs and improve the quality of existing products. This includes focusing on products with advantages and unique characteristics of the province, based on preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, and forming new tourism corridors. The province will also encourage businesses to invest in the development of specific tourism products.
According to the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province, Nguyen Thanh Hong, local tourism has many highlights and competitive strengths. Typical examples are the two world cultural heritages of Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary, along with many other attractive destinations. The province also has 19 national intangible cultural heritages such as Tra Que vegetable growing, lantern making, corn hammock weaving, bamboo and coconut house making in Hoi An, Quang noodle making, Ba Trao singing, and the Co Tu people's brocade weaving, etc.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh also announced the new tourism development corridor of Quang Nam province: "The heritage route Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate - Where nature harmonizes with culture".
The corridor is a blend of the beauty of architecture - history - culture. With 1 journey - 3 destinations (the journey is nearly 100km long), this is a wonderful route to explore the wonderful value of nature, people and unique cultural features of Quang.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FVG Group, stated that the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven's Gate Heritage Route is a comprehensive strategy aimed at making the mountainous region of Quang Nam an attractive destination on the Vietnamese tourism map. If implemented effectively, it will become an important driving force for socio-economic development in the mountainous region of Quang Nam, bringing mutual benefits to both the community and the locality.
At the conference, leaders of Quang Nam province and travel companies signed memoranda of understanding to link and cooperate in developing tourism in Quang Nam.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Record Organization awarded the record certificate "The longest dragon-shaped covered corridor across the mountain in Vietnam" to Hang Hop Eco-tourism Joint Stock Company.
