Quang Nam focuses on removing obstacles for businesses.

Kinhtedothi - In response to proposals from businesses in the real estate, construction investment, and manufacturing sectors, the Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, Le Van Dung, requested that departments, agencies, and localities focus on resolving difficulties and not allow them to persist.

Recently, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, Le Van Dung, held a working session with businesses in the area to promptly address difficulties and obstacles related to institutions and policies, thereby removing bottlenecks and unleashing resources.

Representatives from businesses such as 591 Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, Phu Ninh Water Plant BOO Joint Stock Company, Phu Hao Tien Phuoc Limited Company, Quang Xua Trading Joint Stock Company, and Trung Tay Nguyen Joint Stock Company… frankly shared the long-standing obstacles that directly affect their operations and development plans.

Key issues raised include complex administrative procedures causing delays in project implementation; stalled compensation and land clearance processes; difficulties in accessing funding; and inadequacies in the bidding process.

Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, Le Van Dung, highly appreciated the sharing and contributions of businesses. This has helped the provincial leadership gradually identify problems and issue decisive directives that are closely aligned with the current situation. He emphasized that departments, agencies, and localities must closely monitor the difficulties faced by businesses to provide clear and decisive answers to each task, without shirking responsibility.

Projects in Quang Nam province are facing difficulties in compensation and land clearance.

Regarding the request from 591 Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company for procedural support to implement the Dong Phu Market Town project in Que Son district, the Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee has instructed the Department of Planning and Investment to guide the preparation of the phased implementation schedule. A report should be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision within 7 days of receiving the complete dossier.

The People's Committee of Que Son District is responsible for resolving obstacles in the compensation and land clearance process for the project. If further land clearance is not possible, or if the project falls outside the scope of urban infrastructure and connecting transportation infrastructure, then consideration and proposals should be made to adjust the planning, adjust the project scale, and hand over the remaining area to the locality for the implementation of public investment projects; focusing on promptly approving the compensation and land clearance plan for households that have already drawn lots for resettlement land plots, with specific land prices for compensation as stipulated.

Phu Hao Tien Phuoc Co., Ltd. is working with the Department of Finance to obtain guidance on providing complete documentation to determine the capital structure and demonstrate the financial capacity of the investor implementing the timber processing plant project. By June 2025 at the latest, the Tien Phuoc District People's Committee will complete the procedures and construction of the complete technical infrastructure to enable the Tai Da Industrial Cluster to attract investment projects.

Regarding water supply for Tam Thang Industrial Park, the Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to urgently work with Phu Ninh Water Plant BOO Joint Stock Company to agree on a plan. The Provincial People's Committee will also preside over and direct the implementation of the next steps, ensuring a stable water supply for Tam Thang Industrial Park and the interests of businesses.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the contributions, suggestions, and recommendations of businesses regarding the implementation of projects in the province. He encouraged businesses to base their bids on their capabilities and experience, and to research and update information to participate in tenders for projects publicly posted on the National Bidding Network System.
