When the house was on fire, there were 4 people in the house, including Ms. T. (born in 1998) and 3 small children who were sleeping. The authorities woke up the 4 people and they escaped safely.
At the same time, fire fighting equipment was used in combination with transporting water from the stream to control the fire. However, because the house was made of wood and the strong southwest wind blew, the fire quickly spread to the house of his younger brother next door.

The fire completely burned down 2 houses and many belongings, causing estimated damage of hundreds of millions of dong. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit.

Ba Tang Border Guard Station supported each family with 50kg of rice, 1 box of instant noodles and sent officers and soldiers to help clean up and find ways to rebuild houses as soon as possible, contributing to stabilizing the lives of the families.
