Regulations on prices of medical examination and treatment services paid by the health insurance fund

The People's Council of Binh Phuoc province has just passed a Resolution stipulating the prices of medical examination and treatment services included in the list covered by health insurance.

On December 31st, the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province held its 19th (special) session of the 10th term, 2021-2026, and passed a Resolution stipulating the prices of medical examination and treatment services covered by the health insurance fund.

At the session, the People's Council delegates voted to approve a Resolution stipulating the prices of medical examination and treatment services included in the list covered by the health insurance fund, and specifically the prices of medical examination and treatment services covered by the state budget.

Overview of the meeting

According to the leaders of the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Council, the issuance of regulations on the prices of medical examination and treatment services is an important issue, affecting the quality and services of medical examination and treatment for the people.

According to the recently passed resolution, the fees will be applied to the prices of medical examination and treatment services; the price of hospital bed services; the price of technical and laboratory services; and the price of technical services performed using anesthesia, excluding the cost of medication and oxygen used in the service.

Depending on the healthcare facility, such as Binh Phuoc Provincial General Hospital; district, town, and city health centers; or commune, ward, and town health stations, the prices will vary.

Binh Phuoc Provincial General Hospital

Specifically, at Binh Phuoc Provincial General Hospital, the fee for medical examination covered by health insurance is 45,000 VND. The fee for medical examination and treatment at district, town, and city health centers will be covered by health insurance at 39,800 VND, except for Bu Gia Map district where it is 36,500 VND; and for health stations, it is 36,500 VND.

The bed rates applied at Binh Phuoc Provincial General Hospital range from a minimum of 177,300 VND in the rehabilitation department to a maximum of 799,600 VND in the intensive care unit for organ transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, and stem cell transplantation.
