Launching Quest Ventures Innovation Space in Da Nang

DNO - On the morning of June 1st, the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology (DST) collaborated with Quest Ventures (Singapore) to launch Quest Ventures' innovation and collaboration space in Da Nang. This activity is part of the Da Nang International Venture and Angel Investment Conference - DAVAS 2024.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Le Thi Thuc said that the launch of Quest Ventures' innovation collaboration space in Da Nang opens up many opportunities for exchange, networking, cooperation, and investment promotion in innovation between the two innovation and startup ecosystems of Singapore and Da Nang.

Here, Da Nang's startup projects will have access to information about support programs and investment funds, as well as connections with partners in Singapore. It also serves as a support channel for startups seeking information and access to the Singapore market.

The city hopes to open a Da Nang Innovation and Creativity Cooperation Space in Singapore in the near future to connect with startup support organizations, technology corporations, startups, incubators, investment funds, and universities in Singapore.

Delegates performed the ceremony to launch Quest Ventures' innovation and collaboration space in Da Nang on the morning of June 1st.

Quest Ventures' innovation and collaboration space in Da Nang is located in the Vietnam Innovation Hub building (179 Tran Hung Dao Street, An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District).

Also on the morning of June 1st, support organizations, investment funds, investors, and international and domestic startups visited the 199 Vietnam Medical Innovation Hub (199VIH) at 216 Nguyen Cong Tru Street, An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District.

This is an innovation hub in the field of healthcare and medical services, established on April 28, 2023, between the 199 Hospital Network and the Vietnam Innovation Hub. Its mission is to create a framework, provide infrastructure, pilot solutions, test professional methods, and develop innovative healthcare economic models.

At the same time, the delegation visited the DUT Maker Innovation Space at the University of Da Nang. The DUT Maker Innovation Space was inaugurated on February 1, 2024.

The space aims to bridge the gap between training, research, practice, application, and innovation, especially in high-tech fields that bring high added value, such as integrated circuit design and semiconductor chips.
