As part of the event announcing new features on the VneID application this afternoon, July 14th, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06), Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with CMC Technology and Solutions Corporation (CMC Group), launched the Public Administration Virtual Assistant.
The solution utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technology integrated directly into VNeID to provide citizens with the ability to interact, search for, and complete administrative procedures anytime, anywhere.
According to Mr. Le Minh, Director of Technology at CMC Technology and Solutions Corporation (CMC TS), the main features of the public administration virtual assistant include: searching for administrative procedures at the commune/ward and provincial levels; providing detailed guidance on the process, necessary documents, and forms for each procedure; answering questions about policies and laws related to local government organization; and warning against misinformation and scams exploiting the reorganization of administrative units.

The data used for the virtual assistant was collected, classified, and standardized by CMC TS in collaboration with over 1,200 public services and 28 legal documents related to the decentralization, delegation of authority, and merger of administrative boundaries.
Therefore, in the first week after its launch, the public administration virtual assistant system recorded nearly 100,000 user interactions. Of these, the negative feedback rate was only 1.8%, meaning 98% of users highly appreciated the experience and usefulness that the virtual assistant provided.
CMC TS also stated that in the future, they will expand the deployment of the public administration virtual assistant to the provincial, city, and ward/commune levels, so that people can access this utility.
CMC TS will also add smarter AI features so that the public administration virtual assistant can not only answer questions but also proactively suggest related public services, remind you of deadlines for submitting documents, and provide more comprehensive support to citizens.

Besides the virtual assistant, the "Administrative Handbook" utility on VNeID includes the following main components: Looking up the address and headquarters of commune police stations, commune committees, commune Party committees, and the "one-stop" administrative service mechanism; looking up the list of administrative procedures at the commune, provincial, and ministerial/equivalent levels; and looking up the history of administrative unit arrangement, merger, and conversion (old unit - new unit).

When users search on VneID, they must go to the "Administrative Handbook" section, and only then can they select the Public Administration Virtual Assistant to get answers to questions related to administrative procedures.
Reportedly, despite being in operation for only a short time, the "Administrative Handbook" has already received over 67,823 visits and uses.
