Saigon Co.op donates more than 10,000 boxes of energy milk to students starting the new school year

(Chinhphu.vn) - Continuing the series of meaningful social activities of the program "Pride of Vietnamese Supermarkets" in September 2025, Saigon Co.op launched a program to give away more than 10,000 free boxes of Dutch Lady milk to students on the first day of school on September 5, 2025. This is a meaningful gift, bringing health and joy to the children as they enter the new school year.

On September 5, all Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets nationwide will simultaneously organize a program to give away free milk to the first 80 students who visit the supermarket with their parents to visit and shop. Each child will receive a box of 180ml Dutch Lady milk. In addition to nutritional value, the program also provides a friendly experience space with check-in activities with Dutch Lady products, contributing to bringing the children a first day of school full of energy and love.

In parallel with the back-to-school gift giving activity, Saigon Co.op cooperated with Unilever to carry out the activity of giving 800 gifts of necessities to children at SOS Children's Village - a place to raise and care for orphans, abandoned children or children lacking care from their families. This is a practical sharing, contributing to support daily life and bringing children more joy and encouragement before the new school year.

In order to encourage creativity and develop the artistic talent of children and support students in difficult circumstances, Saigon Co.op organizes a drawing contest with the theme "Growing up with Co.opmart". The program is held from August 27 to September 17, 2025, awarding dozens of scholarships worth up to 100 million VND to students who draw pictures on the theme of honoring Vietnamese values ​​and culture, honoring Vietnamese goods, love and dreams of building the homeland. This activity not only creates a useful artistic playground, but also spreads the spirit of humanity and fosters national pride in the young generation.
