Saigon Co.op donates more than 10,000 boxes of energy milk to students starting the new school year

(Chinhphu.vn) - Continuing the series of meaningful social activities of the program "Pride of Vietnamese Supermarkets" in September 2025, Saigon Co.op launched a program to give away more than 10,000 free boxes of Dutch Lady milk to students on the first day of school on September 5, 2025. This is a meaningful gift, bringing health and joy to the children as they enter the new school year.

On September 5th, all Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets nationwide will simultaneously hold a program to give away free milk to the first 80 students who visit the supermarket with their parents for shopping. Each student will receive one 180ml carton of Dutch Lady milk. Besides its nutritional value, the program also offers a friendly experience with a check-in activity featuring Dutch Lady products, contributing to a back-to-school day filled with energy and love for the students.

Alongside the back-to-school gift-giving activities, Saigon Co.op, in collaboration with Unilever, implemented an initiative to donate 800 packages of essential supplies to children at the SOS Children's Village – a place that nurtures and cares for orphaned, abandoned, or underprivileged children. This is a practical act of sharing, contributing to supporting their daily lives and bringing them joy and encouragement before the start of the new school year.

To encourage creativity, foster artistic talent in children, and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds, Saigon Co.op is organizing a drawing competition with the theme "Growing Up with Co.opmart". The program, running from August 27th to September 17th, 2025, will award dozens of scholarships totaling up to 100 million VND to students who create paintings on themes honoring Vietnamese values ​​and culture, celebrating Vietnamese products, and expressing love and dreams for building their homeland. This activity not only provides a beneficial artistic playground but also spreads a humanitarian spirit and cultivates national pride in the younger generation.

Continuing the series of special promotions in September, 'Proudly Vietnamese Supermarket'

In addition to social activities, Saigon Co.op continues its biggest promotional campaign of the year with week 2 of the "Proud to be a Vietnamese Supermarket" program, offering many attractive deals, such as: Instant Gifts - Shop with Passion (from August 28 to September 18, 2025), and member benefits with thousands of bonus points (from August 28 to September 18, 2025).
