Ready for command and control exercises, 1 side, 2 levels

The command exercise - one-sided, two-level agency combined with the mobilization of reserve soldiers and live-fire is one of the local military and defense tasks of the Provincial Military Command in 2024. According to the plan, the exercise will take place from October 16-18. Up to now, all preparations have been basically completed on schedule, ensuring the success of the exercise.

Colonel Khuc Thanh Du, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, said: This year's command-agency exercise, one side, two levels, has the Military Commands of Ha Long City, Uong Bi City, Quang Yen Town, Dong Trieu Town, Co To District and Regiment 244 participating in the exercise with the Provincial Military Command. To deploy this exercise, the Provincial Military Party Committee issued a specialized resolution to lead the exercise task; directed the organization to disseminate the resolution to all cadres and party members in the Provincial Military Command; Implement a wide-ranging political activity throughout the unit to educate and thoroughly grasp the resolutions, orders, directives and instructions of superiors, build determination and strive to excellently complete the 2024 exercise tasks. The agencies and units participating in the exercise issue specialized resolutions, determine leadership policies and measures and develop specific plans, close to the situation and tasks of each agency and unit; organize strict, correct and complete implementation of content, requirements and time, with the determination to achieve high results and ensure absolute safety.

In order for the exercise to achieve its goals and requirements, the Provincial Military Command and the District Military Command actively prepared all conditions; developed a program and plan for the exercise, ensuring scientific implementation, in accordance with the characteristics of the area, combat missions, and all-round capabilities of the unit. The Provincial Military Command directed the agency to develop and promulgate a system of documents; decided to establish a framework for the exercise; established subcommittees; developed a work schedule to prepare for the exercise; a plan for practice and joint training; a plan and guidance for Party work, political work; logistics and technical work in the exercise; a plan to build a training ground and command post (SCH) equipment...

The Provincial Military Command proactively followed up and asked for opinions from the General Staff of Military Region 3 and relevant agencies to develop an exercise plan, report, and submit it to the Head of Military Region 3 Command for approval; organized field reconnaissance, and developed a plan for live ammunition firing at Shooting Range 493 (Dong Trieu Town).

Up to now, the Provincial Military Command, the District Military Command and Regiment 244 have completed the construction of the SCH system for drills according to the instructions, including: solid tunnels, trenches, training grounds, sand tables... Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Vinh, Commander of the Uong Bi City Military Command, shared: "With the spirit of overcoming the sun and rain, the unit's officers and soldiers have made efforts to complete the SCH system for drills using local funding. The unit organized 2 live TV bridge points at the regular SCH and basic SCH, connecting with the central online TV bridge point of the Provincial Military Command. All preparations have been basically completed, ensuring good service for the drill.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Provincial Military Command has had a plan to review, select forces, and consolidate units participating in the exercise. The Provincial Military Command organizes training and theoretical training for the exercise, combined with mobilizing reserve soldiers and firing live ammunition for the exercise framework. The staff at all levels are introduced by officers of the Military Region's functional agencies and agree on a number of contents and methods of implementation by commanders and agencies at all levels in transitioning to the state of combat readiness, organizing preparations and practicing defensive operations.

The Provincial Military Command takes advantage of the direction and guidance of superiors to conduct direct training through the process of document development, practice, and task implementation to ensure that officers participating in the exercise have a firm grasp of the preparation and practice methods. For the live-fire framework, the Provincial Military Command organizes additional training, coaching, training, and practice for the forces participating in the exercise to have a firm grasp of the principles and methods of organization, command, and coordination of operations, to be proficient in techniques and tactics, and to have good health to ensure the ability to complete the task well.

For the live-fire training mission, the Provincial Military Command directed the re-examination and review of the organization and staffing, and the consolidation of units participating in the exercise; directed the mobilization, reception, and training of reserve soldiers from the Ha Long City Military Command's Reserve Company, the Dong Trieu Town Military Command's Reserve Company; and the Dong Trieu Town mobile militia to participate in the live-fire exercise with Regiment 244 to ensure strict compliance with the directive.

Provincial leaders visited and presented gifts to encourage forces participating in live-fire training at training ground 493.

The exercise contributes to improving the command, staff, and coordination capacity of commanders and agencies at all levels in transitioning to combat readiness, organizing preparations, and practicing provincial defense operations.
