The Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that due to the influence of northeast winds pushing humid clouds in Ho Chi Minh City, heavy rain is forecast this morning, December 4.
This morning, monitoring satellite cloud images, weather radar images and lightning positioning shows that thunderstorms are developing and causing rain with thunderstorms and lightning in the entire neighborhoods, hamlets, villages... in the following wards/communes: Vung Tau ward, Tam Thang, Rach Dua, Phuoc Hai, Phuoc Thang, Long Hai, Long Dien, Long Son, Long Huong, Ba Ria, Dat Do, Ho Tram, Xuyen Moc, Tam Long, Thanh An, Tan Phuoc, Tan Hai, Binh Trung, Binh Chau, Chau Pha, Nghia Thanh, Xuan Son, Hoa Hoi, Binh Tien, Ngai Giao, Phu My, Binh Gia, Binh Thang, Hoa Hiep, Ap 3, Phu Lam, Kim Long, Bau Lam, Chau Duc.
Tan Dong Hiep, Dong Hoa, Cu Chi, Tan An Hoi, Phu Hoa Dong, Nhuan Duc, Thuong Tan, Tan Uyen, Bac Tan Uyen, Binh Co, Phuoc Hoa, Phu Giao, Phuoc Vinh, Phuoc Thanh, Ben Cat, Minh Thanh and coastal areas of Ho Chi Minh City.

This morning, thunderstorms continued to develop, causing showers with thunderstorms and lightning in all neighborhoods, hamlets, villages and hamlets in the above wards/communes. After that, the thunderstorms tended to expand.
Rainfall is generally from 15-45mm, in some places over 50mm. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail, strong gusts of wind level 5-8 (8-21m/s) that can break trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure, endanger human life, heavy rain causes localized flooding in low-lying areas.
