However, since the account was just set up, the transfer cannot be processed on the same day. Additionally, the school needs another day to process teacher salaries. Therefore, students will not be able to attend school tomorrow (April 2nd).

According to the school, the expected return date for all students is Wednesday (April 3rd).

As reported by VTC News, on the same afternoon, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City - signed a document sent to all parents of AISVN International School, announcing the bank account number and contribution amounts to support the school's operations.

The document states that, based on the results of the meeting on March 30th, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, in coordination with parent representatives, AISVN International School, and the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank ( BIDV ), has opened an account to receive contributions from all parents.

The contributions aim to create the most favorable conditions for the teaching and learning activities of AISVN International School to return to normal, ensuring the right to education for students.

According to the Department's announcement, all contributions from parents will be compiled by the Inter-agency Task Force, and a detailed list will be provided for parents' convenience in updating and tracking the funds.

The above account has 3 co-owners and approvers: Representative of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Tran Khac Huy - Head of Financial Planning Department (Account owner 1 approves the review of the final expenditure contents); Representative of AISVN International School, Mr. Ho Quang Trung (Account owner 2 approves the review of the first expenditure contents); Representative of the Parents' Representative Board, Ms. Tran Phuong Anh (Supervisor of the first expenditure contents when the accountant of AISVN International School submits).

All contributions from parents will be compiled, managed, and publicly disclosed by the Inter-agency Task Force. The contributed funds will be reviewed and disbursed by the specialized department of the Inter-agency Task Force for the intended purpose, under the supervision of representatives from the Parents' Association of AISVN International School, specifically:

Step 1: Based on the approved detailed expenditure plan, the school's chief accountant will create a money transfer order and submit it to the Parent-Teacher Association for supervision and agreement.

Step 2: The second authorized person to the account holder gives their initial approval.

Step 3: The authorized person of the first account holder approves the transfer order to complete it.

Based on the review of data reported by AISVN American International School, the level of parent contributions to support the maintenance of AISVN International School's operations until the end of the 2023-2024 school year is as follows:

Kindergarten: 28.5 million VND; Primary school: 43.5 million VND; Grades 6 to 8: 20.5 - 61.5 million VND; Grades 9 to 12: 25.5 - 76.5 million VND.

After settling all income and expenses for the 2023-2024 school year, the inter-agency team will request the American International School Vietnam (AISVN) to hire an independent auditing firm to publicly audit the financial statements as required by regulations.
