Schneider Electric expands soft starter portfolio in Vietnam

Schneider Electric has just introduced new soft starter lines Altivar Soft Starter ATS130, ATS430 and ATS490 in the Vietnamese market.

As domestic industries and infrastructures are accelerating automation, optimizing energy efficiency, and upgrading operating systems to sustainable standards, the demand for advanced motor control solutions that are both powerful and cost-effective is increasing. Schneider Electric expands its soft starter portfolio with the ATS130, ATS430 and ATS490 product lines in Vietnam, helping businesses improve reliability and optimize operating costs.

Responding to this trend, Schneider Electric introduces three new Altivar soft starter lines: ATS130 for simple machines, ATS430 for discrete manufacturing industries and ATS490 for large-scale processing and infrastructure applications such as water treatment, mining or HVAC. Introducing product lines that meet the needs of different customer segments helps Schneider Electric meet the diverse needs of the market, supporting Vietnamese businesses in the digital transformation process, optimizing operations and aiming to reduce carbon emissions.

In which, ATS130 is a soft starter solution for simple machines, capacity from 11 kW to 55 kW; ATS430 is a soft starter for standard machines in the industry, capacity from 4 kW to 400 kW and ATS490 is a solution for large-scale infrastructure and industry, capacity from 4 kW - 900 kW.

The expansion of the ATS130, ATS430 and ATS490 soft starter product lines marks an important step forward in Schneider Electric’s efforts to accompany the modernization and digital transformation of Vietnam’s industrial sector.
