Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Hoang Thanh Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province , said: In recent days, Typhoon No. 3 (Super Typhoon Yagi), with its very strong intensity, has severely affected the northern provinces and cities, causing many deaths and disappearances; infrastructure has been seriously damaged. Houses and property of people have suffered heavy losses. Many areas are still cut off and isolated by floods and landslides, and people's lives are facing many difficulties.

Comrade Hoang Thanh Hien - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province, delivered a speech at the launching ceremony.

Upholding the tradition of national solidarity, with the spirit of "mutual support and compassion," "helping those in need," and responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to mobilize support for people to overcome the damage caused by typhoon No. 3.

Comrade Hoang Huu Thai - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province, along with the leadership, officials, civil servants, and employees of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province, participated in the fundraising.

Following a fundraising appeal, the leaders of the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Information and Communications, along with its officials, civil servants, and employees, contributed over 22 million VND. The entire amount will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province for coordination and timely distribution to affected localities to help people overcome the consequences of Typhoon No. 3.
