Temporarily stop circulation of health protection food batch Apiroca-B

The Food Safety Department has proposed to temporarily suspend the circulation and use of a batch of health protection food products Apiroca-B containing substandard ingredients.

The Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) has just issued notice No. 1511/TB-ATTP requesting a temporary suspension of the sale, distribution, and use of the Apiroca-B health supplement product batch (batch number: 0335001, manufacturing date: 260325, expiry date: 260327) from July 22nd.

Reason for suspension of circulation: Regarding quality, the aforementioned batch of Apiroca-B health supplement products failed to meet standards; test results: vitamin B2 (Riboflavin sodium phosphate) 86.9 mg/tablet.

The Food Safety Administration has requested a temporary suspension of the circulation and use of the Apiroca-B health supplement product batch that failed to meet quality standards.

The aforementioned product is announced and the responsibility for it lies with Apimed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Ho Chi Minh City); manufactured at the Apimed Pharmaceutical factory, a branch of Apimed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (located in Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province).

The Food Safety Department requests that Apimed Pharmaceutical Factory, a branch of Apimed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, contact Apimed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company to implement corrective measures within 7 days. The aforementioned goods will only be allowed to continue circulating if the corrective actions have been satisfactory and the inspection agency issues a notice allowing the goods to continue circulating in the market.

A fake fanpage impersonating the Food Safety Department is recruiting.

The Food Safety Administration recently announced the discovery of a fake fan page impersonating the agency to share false information about job openings.

The Food Safety Administration affirms that it only uses the official information channel on its website vfa.gov.vn and does not recruit civil servants or fill any positions as falsely claimed in the information provided.

The Food Safety Department urges the public to be vigilant, refrain from sharing or interacting with content from fake fan pages, and report violations to the hotline: 0243.232.1556. The agency is also coordinating with relevant authorities to handle violations in accordance with the law.
