To foster a sense of shared responsibility, facilitate investment in budgets at all levels, and mobilize public contributions for infrastructure integration and urban beautification, on October 4, 2021, the People's Council of Tam Ky City issued Resolution No. 269 stipulating the percentage of support from the city, commune, and ward budgets for the period 2021-2025.

According to the city government's assessment, after more than two years of implementing investment support, localities have become more proactive in upgrading, renovating, and connecting technical infrastructure in their areas.

At the same time, it contributes to promoting socialization, creating high consensus among the people, and working together to build an increasingly civilized city.

According to a report by the People's Committee of Tam Ky City, from 2022 to 2024, 164 projects were implemented in the city with a total investment of 282 billion VND; of which the city contributed 182.5 billion VND from land fund exploitation, the local counterpart capital was 93 billion VND, and nearly 6 billion VND came from social mobilization, not including the funds from social mobilization for compensation and land clearance.

With decisive leadership from the city and strong involvement from local authorities, 98 projects have been completed to date, 30 projects are being accelerated, and 36 projects are in the process of completing investment procedures and land clearance.

Notably, during the implementation of infrastructure projects, the process of social mobilization and soliciting contributions from the people has yielded many positive results.

Since 2022 alone, a total of 78 projects have implemented socialized compensation and land clearance, with the land donated by the people to the State reaching nearly 21,500 . In addition, 86 projects were implemented through socialized investment, with people contributing 5% of the total investment, amounting to nearly 6 billion VND.

Hoa Huong Ward is one of the exemplary localities in the movement of donating land for road construction. Most recently, 56 households in Huong Tra Tay neighborhood donated 2,500m2 of land to expand the N24 canal road to a width of 11.5m, creating a spacious road serving the local community and tourism .

The People's Council of Tam Ky City recently conducted a monitoring session on the implementation of Resolution No. 269 and assessed that, over the past two years, the invested projects have been effective, addressing pressing needs and receiving positive responses from the people.

According to Mr. Duong Van Chi, Vice Chairman of the Tam Ky City People's Council, in the coming time, in addition to overcoming some limitations and obstacles such as slow construction progress and insufficient resources, it is necessary to increase investment from the city budget for transportation and drainage projects.

Regarding land clearance work, it is necessary to intensify propaganda and mobilize the people to support the policy of socialization; at the same time, strictly handle cases of non-compliance in accordance with the law.

Communes and wards need to proactively review and survey investment projects, prioritizing those that are causing urgent needs among the people and promoting the socio -economic development of the locality.
