Implementing Directive No. 06-CT/TW of the Central Party Secretariat and directives of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Tan Chau District Party Committee Standing Committee issued plans and documents guiding implementation and directed dissemination to the entire political system. 52/52 branches and grassroots party committees in the district seriously disseminated Directive No. 06, with the participation rate of party members reaching 99.36%.
In addition, the dissemination of propaganda to the people was carried out widely with more than 2,700 meetings, with tens of thousands of people, union members and association members attending. The radio and loudspeaker system at the grassroots level played a role with more than 1,000 minutes of broadcasting specialized propaganda.
Based on Plan No. 50-KH/HU of the District Party Committee, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations proactively develop plans suitable to the reality of each locality, agency and unit. Family building is identified as an important task associated with annual socio-cultural development, especially emphasizing the exemplary role of cadres, party members and leaders at all levels.
The Propaganda Department and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department orient information and propaganda work via the internet and social networks. Coordination between agencies and units in mobilizing the people is enhanced. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations perform well the role of supervision and criticism in family work.
Tan Chau district maintains and synchronously develops models of domestic violence prevention and control in 12/12 communes and towns; 76 sustainable family development clubs; 12 groups for domestic violence prevention and control; 12 trusted addresses and 22 hotlines to support victims.
In addition, the district has implemented models such as: propagating andeducating ethics and lifestyle in Vietnamese families; building a model of a typical cultural family with order, harmony and solidarity. These models have actively contributed to propagating and disseminating laws on marriage, family, violence prevention, gender equality and good traditional cultural values.
From June 2021 to April 2025, the district organized a series of communication activities on major family holidays such as: Vietnamese Family Day, International Day of Happiness, Month of Action for Gender Equality... Through social networks, Propaganda information pages, Zalo, Facebook, propaganda fanpages attracted millions of views and interactions.
The Department of Justice has implemented programs to disseminate family law, organized competitions, published thousands of professional documents and leaflets; organized many training conferences for mediators, officials of the Women's Union, Youth Union, etc. to improve their capacity to handle family disputes and conflicts.
Cultural and artistic activities were organized enthusiastically with 24 competitions and 84 performances serving remote and border areas. Health clubs, amateur music and poetry clubs developed strongly in all communes and towns. Activities of religions and ethnic minorities were stable, promoting the role of prestigious people and religious dignitaries in mobilizing people to participate in building cultural life, new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
Tan Chau mobilized the participation of more than 90 cadres, civil servants, and collaborators to carry out family work from the district to hamlet and neighborhood levels. At the same time, many organizations and individuals joined hands to support poor families and families in difficulty; develop basic social services for families, ensuring fairness and convenience in access.
Promoting the achieved results, Tan Chau district continues to deploy and enforce the Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence, maintain and replicate effective models in the community; increase support for counseling, legal services, health care, and shelters for victims of violence. The government continues to inspect and supervise the implementation of programs and plans on family work, while creating conditions for people, the Fatherland Front and organizations to contribute ideas to build families in the new situation.
