Tan Nhan revealed she was once desperate because she lost 80% of her singing ability.

According to Tan Nhan, she feels she has lost up to 80% of her singing ability, due to health exhaustion after giving birth and having contracted COVID-19 three times.

The singer revealed that during her pregnancy, she lost her voice and had a stuffy nose. Then, contracting COVID-19 significantly weakened her voice and made breathing difficult.

Tan Nhan once thought that after giving birth and recovering her health, she would soon be able to return to her profession. However, after giving birth, she contracted COVID-19 twice more, so her hopes of returning to singing became even more pessimistic.

Tan Nhan was devastated when she felt she had lost 80% of her singing ability.

At many points, Tan Nhan shared that she felt pain and despair realizing her voice was fading away day by day. Even though she could still sing, Tan Nhan couldn't accept the reality. For Tan Nhan, losing 10-20% of her singing ability meant she wasn't herself. There were times she didn't dare accept singing gigs, even though she received many invitations.

There were times when she felt helpless, truly wanting to give up when, despite her best efforts at treatment, things didn't improve much. The beauty queen even considered retiring from singing and focusing on teaching.

Until recently, Tan Nhan accidentally heard her student singing the song " Nguoi Ha Tinh Co Thuong" (People of Ha Tinh, Do You Love Me?) on television. At that moment, she was determined to recover at all costs to create a special album titled "Nguoi Ha Tinh Co Thuong".

Making this album with Tan Nhan was a challenging journey. Although her voice hasn't fully returned to its former glory, it has made some basic recovery thanks to her continuous efforts in practice.

"It's hard to express how happy I am to have completed this album. It confirms my victory over myself, even though it's not entirely the same as before, but it has brought Tan Nhan back to music . This is a very special album in my career," Tan Nhan expressed.

The album "Người Hà Tĩnh có thương" (People of Ha Tinh, I Love You) marks Tan Nhan's debut in singing Central Vietnamese folk songs. The album includes nine songs : "Người Hà Tĩnh có thương" ; "Lỡ hẹn với dòng Lam" (Missing the Lam River); "Tìm em câu ví sông Lam" (Finding You with a Song of the Lam River ); "Mưa chiều miền Trung" (Afternoon Rain in Central Vietnam); "Câu đợi câu chờ" (Waiting and Longing ) ; "Ký ức dòng Lam" (Memories of the Lam River); "Xa quê" (Far from Home); "Về xứ Nghệ yêu thương" (Returning to the Beloved Land of Nghe An); and "Nhớ quê" ( Remembering Home). The album also features guest appearances by People's Artist Quoc Hung, Luong Nguyet Anh, and singer Thu Ha.
