BAC NINH - The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued a decision allowing the adjustment of mineral exploitation capacity according to the license granted in 2024 for Anh Hien Trading and Service Company Limited in Kep commune from 300 thousand m3/year to more than 736 thousand m3/year.

The company must fully implement the contents of the environmental impact assessment report in the project area in Kep commune. At the same time, fully pay the remaining environmental restoration deposit of more than 133 million VND before July 27, 2025.

Anh Hien Trading and Service Company Limited gives priority to using local labor to carry out mineral exploitation and mineral protection activities within the licensed area. Support and contribute funds to the People's Committee of Kep Commune to invest in upgrading, maintaining, and constructing technical infrastructure works, environmental protection works, and welfare works in the area.

Kep Commune People's Committee directs competent authorities to regularly monitor and inspect the Company's mineral exploitation and transportation activities in the land exploitation area and adjacent areas to promptly detect and prevent violations by organizations and individuals, if any, and report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee according to regulations.

According to the representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, allowing Anh Hien Trading and Service Company Limited to increase the capacity of land exploitation and leveling is to ensure the progress of the Huong Son 2 Industrial Cluster project in Kep commune (Bac Ninh). At the same time, it meets the demand for land materials for leveling and filling the foundation for projects and construction works in the province and neighboring areas.

Huong Son 2 Industrial Cluster was established in 2023 with an area of about 65 hectares. Industries attracting investment: Electricity, electronics, mechanics, garment, agricultural and forestry processing, food, packaging, processing industry, manufacturing, factory rental... The project has a total investment of more than 688 billion VND.
