Giving gifts to disadvantaged children and people with disabilities

The Binh Duong Provincial Children's Protection Fund, in collaboration with Binh Duong Environmental Technology Development Co., Ltd., organized a gift-giving event for disadvantaged children, provided support to orphaned children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, and donated wheelchairs to disabled people in Tan Uyen City and Bac Tan Uyen District, Binh Duong Province.

Accordingly, Binh Duong Environmental Technology Development Co., Ltd. donated 7 wheelchairs to people with disabilities, 13 bicycles and 23 support packages for orphaned children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, and 100 gifts for children in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of 100 million VND.

Representatives from the sponsors and the Children's Protection Fund, along with local authorities, presented bicycles to underprivileged students.

This activity demonstrates the concern of all levels of government and society as a whole for people with disabilities, orphans, and children in difficult circumstances. Through this, it encourages these individuals to remain optimistic, strive to integrate into the community and society, and overcome challenges in life.

In recent times, in addition to supporting disadvantaged children to attend school, the Department of Labor , War Invalids and Social Affairs of Tan Uyen City has advised the City People's Committee to coordinate with agencies, units, organizations, associations and localities to promote propaganda and education, mobilize all resources to care for children at the grassroots level and organize many activities to protect and educate children, especially those with particularly difficult circumstances, poor children, and those facing sudden difficulties...

Providing support to children orphaned due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Specifically, from the beginning of the year until now, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, in coordination with the People's Committees of communes and wards, has organized swimming classes for 89 disadvantaged children. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the City People's Committee organized visits and presented 185 gifts to children with particularly difficult circumstances so that they could celebrate the New Year, with a total amount of 185 million VND. During this year's Action Month for Children, the Tan Uyên City People's Committee also presented 300 gifts with a total amount of 90 million VND from the city budget; the City Youth Union donated the "For Our Beloved Children" project including 3,000 notebooks worth 30 million VND and 21 sets of textbooks worth 10.5 million VND; the Department of Education and Training donated 280 sets of textbooks with a total value of 50 million VND to 300 disadvantaged children…
