Binh Duong Provincial Children's Fund in collaboration with Binh Duong Environmental Technology Development Company Limited organized a gift giving event for children in difficult circumstances, provided support to orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and donated wheelchairs to people with disabilities in Tan Uyen City and Bac Tan Uyen District, Binh Duong.

Accordingly, Binh Duong Environmental Technology Development Company Limited donated 7 wheelchairs to the disabled, 13 bicycles and 23 support packages for orphans due to the Covid-19 epidemic, 100 gifts for children in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of 100 million VND.

Representatives of the sponsor and the Children's Fund together with local authorities presented bicycles to students in difficult circumstances.

This activity demonstrates the concern of the authorities at all levels and the whole society for people with disabilities, orphans, and children in difficult circumstances. Thereby, encouraging them to always be optimistic, make efforts, and strive to integrate into the community, society, and improve their lives.

In recent times, in addition to supporting disadvantaged children to go to school by the city'seducation sector, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (LD-TB&XH) of Tan Uyen City has advised the City People's Committee to coordinate with agencies, units, organizations, unions and localities to promote propaganda and education work, mobilize all resources towards facilities to care for children and organize many activities to protect and educate children, especially children in especially difficult circumstances, poor children, children facing sudden difficulties...

Specifically, since the beginning of the year, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has coordinated with the People's Committees of communes and wards to organize swimming classes for 89 children in difficult circumstances. On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the City People's Committee visited and presented 185 gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances to help them enjoy spring and celebrate Tet with a total amount of 185 million VND. During the Action Month for Children this year, the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City also presented 300 gifts with a total amount of 90 million VND from the city budget; the City Youth Union presented the project "For Beloved Juniors" including 3,000 notebooks worth 30 million VND and 21 sets of textbooks worth 10.5 million VND; the Department of Education and Training presented 280 sets of textbooks with a total value of 50 million VND to 300 children in difficult circumstances...
