On February 19, the Provincial Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation held a meeting to deploy some of the Steering Committee's work in the coming time. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee. Attending the meeting were Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee and members of the Steering Committee.

Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the Provincial Party Committee issued an Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. At the same time, the Provincial Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation was established, headed by the Provincial Party Secretary; promulgated regulations on functions, tasks, working regimes and working relationships of the Steering Committee; and announced the assignment of tasks to members of the Steering Committee.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation discussed and gave opinions on the draft Working Program of the Steering Committee in 2025. Accordingly, the Working Program in 2025 focuses on specific tasks for each month and quarter and assigns each member of the Steering Committee to be responsible for implementation during the year on the basis of closely following the core content of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Action Program No. 46-CTr/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee. During the implementation process, the Steering Committee organizes thematic meetings to orient the work; at the same time, selects key and key issues to direct, creating breakthroughs of a widespread nature to carry out other tasks...

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized: Resolution No. 57 is of special importance to the development of the province in the new situation; it is an opportunity to create a breakthrough in the province's economic growth. He requested the Steering Committee for the 2025 Work Program to closely follow the goals of Resolution 57 of the Politburo and Action Program 46 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to propose specific and detailed tasks; at the same time, it is associated with the breakthroughs in 2025 of Quang Ninh.

In particular, focusing on raising awareness, making breakthroughs in innovation of thinking, determining political determination, resolutely leading and directing to create new impulses and new momentum in the whole society in developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; urgently and resolutely perfecting institutions; increasing investment and perfecting infrastructure for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; developing high-quality human resources to meet requirements; promoting digital transformation, applying science and technology in the activities of agencies in the political system; strongly promoting science, technology, innovation and digital transformation activities in enterprises; strengthening international cooperation...

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the standing agencies of the Steering Committee to absorb the opinions to complete the 2025 Working Program of the Steering Committee on Science, Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation of Quang Ninh Province. At the same time, he requested the members of the Steering Committee to promote their initiative and actively contribute their efforts, intelligence and experience to effectively implement Resolution 57 in the province with the spirit of breakthrough, innovation and creativity bearing the province's own brand.
