
Accordingly, the Trade Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in the province continues to affirm its role as a representative organization and a reliable bridge between the professional staff and the workers, making an important contribution to building a team of cadres, officials, and workers with strong political convictions, a sense of responsibility, and impeccable professional ethics; while also improving management capacity and better serving the poor and policy beneficiaries.
During the period 2023-2025, trade union members continuously strived to promptly and effectively implement policy credit programs for the poor and other policy beneficiaries. In coordination with socio-political organizations, they focused resources and accelerated the implementation of loan programs aimed at achieving sustainable poverty reduction, ensuring social security, and building new rural areas, contributing to socio-economic development. This affirmed that social policy credit has truly become a part of people's lives and has received their support.
The Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) currently has 416 members, organized into 28 branch unions (including the Provincial Head Office and 27 affiliated transaction offices). All employee benefits and policies are fully implemented, working conditions are ensured, and job requirements are met; the system of machinery, equipment, and transportation for community transactions is fully equipped and continuously upgraded to modern standards. Despite the VBSP system operating across a vast, fragmented area, with some branch units located 150-250 km from the center and facing difficult travel conditions, the staff, union members, and employees consistently demonstrate a spirit of responsibility, dedication, and commitment to their work, successfully completing all assigned tasks.
The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) consistently adheres to the goals and directions of the VBSP Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Board of Directors. It proactively and promptly advises on social policy credit activities; effectively implements Directive No. 40-CT/TW dated November 22, 2014, of the Party Central Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over social policy credit; successfully organizes the conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW; and continues to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on issuing the Plan for implementing Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated October 30, 2024, of the Party Central Committee on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period. The relationship between the trade union and the professional staff is maintained harmoniously, stably, and progressively; and the grassroots democracy regulations are effectively implemented. Launch emulation movements to attract the active participation of union members, contributing to the successful implementation of the branch's political tasks.
After 5 months of consolidation, as of November 30, 2025, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Lam Dong Provincial Branch had a total capital of VND 17,913 billion, with an average annual growth rate of 12.1%. Of this: mobilized capital amounted to VND 2,202 billion, an increase of 43.1% compared to 2022 (1.4 times higher), accounting for 12.3% of total capital; entrusted investment capital from the locality amounted to VND 2,216 billion, an increase of 154.7% compared to 2022 (2.5 times higher), accounting for 12.4% of total capital; and balanced capital from the Central Government amounted to VND 13,495 billion, an increase of 30.7% compared to 2022 (1.3 times higher), accounting for 75.3% of total capital.
Total outstanding loans reached VND 17,868 billion across 17 programs, an increase of VND 5,543 billion compared to the beginning of the term, with an average annual growth rate of 12.9%. Loan disbursements during the term totaled VND 14,409 billion, a 37.2% increase compared to the previous term; loan collection during the term reached VND 8,867 billion, a 27.9% increase compared to the previous term. Total overdue and non-performing loans amounted to VND 39,851 million, representing 0.22% of total outstanding loans. Of this: overdue loans totaled VND 19,334 million, accounting for 0.11%, a decrease of 0.04% compared to 2022; non-performing loans totaled VND 20,517 million, accounting for 0.11% of total outstanding loans. Commune transaction activities are maintained stably at 329 transaction points in 124 communes, wards and special zones as before the merger; the People's Committee of the commune arranges to ensure safety and convenience for people to transact smoothly, and safety of people and property during the transaction period...
