Speaking at the launch ceremony, journalist Ho Minh Chien – Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine – emotionally stated that the house fire in Khuong Dinh was a very heartbreaking event with extremely serious consequences.

"We are deeply saddened by this incident. In the spirit of 'mutual support and compassion,' we wish to contribute our small efforts and share in the pain of the victims," journalist Ho Minh Chien expressed.
Earlier, at approximately 11:50 PM on September 12th, a fire broke out in a multi-story building with an area of about 200 square meters in Khuong Dinh ward (Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi ), resulting in exceptionally serious consequences. Authorities have confirmed 56 deaths and 37 injuries.
The Hanoi City Police Investigation Agency subsequently issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, indict the suspect, and order the arrest and detention of Nghiêm Quang Minh (born in 1979; currently residing in Yên Hòa, Cầu Giấy, Hanoi, the owner of the apartment building where the fire occurred) for 4 months on charges of violating fire safety regulations.
In recent days, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, along with many other agencies and organizations, has launched a fundraising campaign to support the victims and help them stabilize their lives after the fire.
