Techfest Hai Phong: Connecting domestic and foreign technology supply and demand

On October 10, the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong city coordinated with the Center for Innovation and Business Cooperation, the Korean Institute of Science and Technology and Belgian enterprises to organize a session connecting technology supply and demand between organizations and enterprises with the participation of more than 160 domestic and foreign delegates.

Over the years, Hai Phong has always identified science and technology development as one of the three strategic pillars along with modern industry and marine economy , aiming to become the innovation center of the Northern Coast region.

The supply-demand connection session is an activity of Techfest Hai Phong 2025 - the city's largest annual innovation event, a meeting place for the scientific community, businesses and investors, contributing to making Hai Phong a trusted address in international technology cooperation.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong City Le Luong Thinh emphasized: This is not only a forum for businesses to exchange and introduce new technologies but also an open space for opportunities for cooperation, investment, technology transfer, and joint research between Vietnamese and international businesses.

The participation of 6 foreign enterprises operating in the fields of AI, automation, clean energy, digital transformation and smart agriculture contributes to providing advanced, highly applicable solutions, helping Vietnamese enterprises improve productivity, product quality and innovate production and business models.

Hai Phong affirms that it is always ready to welcome and accompany businesses, investors, and scientists to build a comprehensive innovation ecosystem, where ideas, technology, and people connect to create new values for socio-economic development.

In the coming time, the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong city will continue to strengthen its role as a technology bridge, promoting the formation of an international cooperation network between domestic and foreign enterprises.

Ms. Noh Eun Joo, Director of the Center for Innovative Enterprise Cooperation at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), shared: Techfest Hai Phong 2025 is a technology fair with a long history, held for the past 10 years in 5 major cities of Vietnam, attracting the participation of many Korean enterprises.

AI and information and communication technology not only create great business opportunities but also serve as a digital transformation platform for all industries, including the biotechnology sector.

She hopes that at this forum there will be many practical ideas and proposals to realize the goal of “Unlimited Innovation - Reaching Globally,” creating opportunities for businesses, research institutes and management agencies of Vietnam and Korea to share experiences, technology and expand in-depth cooperation.
