Notably, with the World Games championship title just won, Cho Myung-woo has won a total of 4 trophies in less than 2 months. Previously, the Korean prodigy won the World Cup billiards Porto - Portugal (July 5) and 2 national tournaments of the land of kimchi, on July 16 and August 6.

On the other hand, Sameh Sidhom still seems unable to break the second-place curse. Before losing to Cho Myung-woo in the final of this World Games, the Egyptian player also suffered defeats many times in the championship match. At the World Cup billiards arena, Sidhom lost in the final 3 times, including 2 defeats to Vietnam's number 1 player Tran Quyet Chien.
