Establishment of the Steering Committee for electricity saving in Thanh Hoa province

The Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 3492/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Provincial Electricity Saving Steering Committee. The Department of Industry and Trade is the Standing Body of the Steering Committee.

The Thanh Hoa Province Electricity Saving Steering Committee consists of 41 members. The Head of the Steering Committee is Mr. Mai Xuan Liem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The Deputy Head of the Steering Committee is Mr. Le Tien Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.

The Steering Committee is responsible for directing, urging, inspecting and supervising the implementation of electricity saving work in the province, ensuring compliance with the direction of the Prime Minister in Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated June 8, 2023 on enhancing electricity saving in the period of 2023-2025 and the following years, effectively implementing Plan No. 181/KH-UBND dated June 30, 2023 on implementing Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister.

The Steering Committee operates according to regulations issued by the Head of the Steering Committee. The Head, Deputy Head, and members of the Steering Committee work part-time.

The Decision takes effect from August 22, 2024.
