Another special art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd

The special art program “Proud to be Vietnamese” is an event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, chaired by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television, and Netmedia Joint Stock Company.

The program, an artistic epic honoring our roots and inspiring the future, is scheduled to take place at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi at 8:10 PM on August 17th.

The program is broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television; rebroadcast on many local TV channels and livestreamed on digital platforms.

This is one of the key national activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, contributing to honoring the glorious history of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people, arousing deep gratitude to the Party, President Ho Chi Minh and generations of predecessors, compatriots and soldiers nationwide who sacrificed their blood for national independence and unification; spreading widely the solidarity of the Vietnamese people across the country and overseas Vietnamese, thereby strengthening the belief, spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, national pride, aspiration to contribute and determination to build a rich and powerful Vietnam.

"Proud to be Vietnamese" is not just a simple art event, but also an activity with profound political and ideological significance, contributing to spreading cultural, historical, and moral values ​​of "drinking water, remembering the source" among all segments of the population, especially the younger generation.

The program will become a bridge connecting millions of Vietnamese hearts, inspiring patriotism, national pride and solidarity in every Vietnamese person.

The program brings together renowned artists such as: the band Bức Tường, Dương Trần Nghĩa, Tùng Dương, Hòa Minzy, Anh Tú, Dương Hoàng Yến, Lâm Bảo Ngọc, Hà An Huy, Meritorious Artist Hoàng Tùng, Phạm Thu Hà, Lê Anh Dũng, Huyền Trang, Lâm Phúc, the Oplus group, Mai Trang, Tiến Hưng, Tiêu Minh Phụng, RamC, the Dynamic Choir, the Little Stars Club, along with the participation of 500 artists and dancers, who will deliver exhilarating performances, taking the audience on a captivating and proud artistic journey.


Currently, the production crew is rushing to complete the production to bring the audience an "artistic feast" with elaborate real-life performances, top-notch sound, light and visual systems, combining traditional and modern musical works, promising to bring a satisfying, sublime experience between the artists and the audience.

Sharing his thoughts on the program's staging, Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung, General Director of Netmedia Joint Stock Company and the program's General Director, said, "'Proud to be Vietnamese' is structured into three chapters: Chapter 1: 'Origins - Calling out Vietnam'; Chapter 2: 'One Vietnam - A Million Hearts'; and Chapter 3: 'Proud to be Vietnamese'."

The stage design of the art program "Proud to be Vietnamese" was inspired by the legend of Lang Lieu, combining the images of heaven and earth.


“Proud to be Vietnamese will be an elaborately staged art program, with music, sound and light blending into a symphony of origin and aspiration. The program also has many surprise elements for the audience, with the desire to bring an eye-catching art program.
