Another wonderful Rhododendron peak in Lai Chau for adventurous tourists

Lai Chau has established a brand with 6 out of 10 high, beautiful, and worthwhile mountain peaks for tourists to explore. And to allow those who have never climbed mountains to satisfy their passion, PU Lai Chau Trading and Tourism Company Limited, along with a team of porters from Lai Chau province, organized a survey and installed a marker for the summit of Do Quyen Peak, 2,619m high. This is considered the most beautiful Do Quyen Peak not only in Lai Chau but also in the entire Northwest region of Vietnam.

According to Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, a representative of the company, the Rhododendron Peak (2,619m high), located on the route from Si Thau Chai village (Tam Duong district) to Pu Ta Leng peak, is home to the largest, most abundant, vibrant, and beautiful rhododendron forest in Lai Chau and the Northwest region. After surveying the area with the porters, the group organized a trip for tourists over two days (March 9-10) to experience, explore , and participate in marking the summit of Rhododendron Peak. The round trip is approximately 16km, lasting two days and one night, making it perfectly suitable for many people who want to fulfill their dream of conquering the peak, chasing clouds, and admiring rhododendrons on a weekend. With the goal of establishing and branding the Rhododendron Peak of Lai Chau province as the most beautiful rhododendron peak in Lai Chau, we want to provide more tourists with a mountain climbing experience that suits their health and time constraints. The best part is that the route to the Rhododendron Peak offers visitors a variety of experiences, including centuries-old primeval forests, rustling bamboo groves, misty mountain peaks, and cardamom forests. Throughout the journey, visitors can admire the sunset, sunrise, and cloud-chasing, and most importantly, conquer the 2,619m peak while admiring and photographing the rhododendron – the queen of Northwest flowers.
