Specifically, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Pham Dinh Cu by removing him from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen province for the 2011-2016 term due to violations and shortcomings in his work, and the Secretariat has disciplined him in terms of party discipline.
* At the 37th session, the Central Inspection Committee considered the proposal of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Executive Committee on disciplinary action against violating party members.
The Central Inspection Committee found that comrade Pham Dinh Cu, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen province, had degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and exemplary responsibilities, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and local state management agencies.
Pursuant to Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee proposed that the Secretariat consider and discipline comrade Pham Dinh Cu.
On April 9, the Secretariat decided to discipline Mr. Pham Dinh Cu by expelling him from the Party, and at the same time requested competent authorities to promptly and consistently enforce administrative discipline in line with Party discipline.
