Candidate had an accident and went to the 2025 high school graduation exam site by ambulance

(Dan Tri) - A PHCA candidate, residing in Gia Lai province, suffered a crushed ankle and severed tendon in a traffic accident before the exam day. The hospital arranged an ambulance to help take the candidate to the exam site.

On the morning of June 26, Hoang Anh Gia Lai University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital said it had mobilized specialized ambulances to support the transportation of candidates being treated for traffic accidents to the exam site.

Previously, at 7:45 a.m. on June 25, while traveling on the road, PHCA (born in 2007, residing in Nghia Hoa commune, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province) unfortunately fell off his electric bike.

Immediately afterwards, A. was taken to the Emergency Department of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital - Hoang Anh Gia Lai, in a painful state. After examination, the doctor diagnosed that A. had a crushed right ankle, broken bones, dislocated joints and torn extensor tendons.

Doctors quickly performed surgery, fixed the joint and connected the tendon for A. The surgery lasted more than 1 hour.

In order for A. to be able to take the graduation exam on time, on the morning of June 26, doctors changed the bandage and gave him medicine. At the same time, the hospital mobilized an ambulance to take A. to the exam site at Mac Dinh Chi High School (Phu Hoa town, Chu Pah district).

Gia Lai province has 16,206 candidates eligible to take the exam (15,502 candidates studying in grade 12 and 704 independent candidates), an increase of 968 candidates compared to 2024. This year's exam has many new points, when for the first time, students studying the 2018 General Education Program and the 2006 General Education Program will take the exam together.

Therefore, the province has proactively implemented preparations to help candidates enter the exam with a steady and confident mindset.
