
At the close of trading on November 12th, the VN-Index fell 5.5 points to 1,244.82 points. Trading volume reached over 600.6 million shares, equivalent to over 14,222.1 billion VND. Across the entire exchange, there were 120 gainers, 236 losers, and 79 stocks that remained unchanged.
The HNX-Index fell 0.17 points to 226.69 points. Trading volume reached over 47.1 million shares, equivalent to over 872.1 billion VND. Across the entire exchange, there were 64 gainers, 83 losers, and 61 stocks that remained unchanged.
The UPCOM-Index decreased by 0.01 points to 92.39 points. Trading volume reached over 29.4 million shares, equivalent to over 462.2 billion VND. Across the entire exchange, there were 153 gainers, 112 losers, and 89 stocks that remained unchanged.
The VN30 index saw 20 stocks decline, with only 5 rising and 5 remaining unchanged. MWG experienced the sharpest drop at 3.49%. Other stocks fell included GVR (1.5%), MSN (1.36%), CTG (1.29%), BVH (1.2%), andFPT (1.08%). The remaining declining stocks all fell by less than 1%. On the upside, SAB saw the strongest gain in the VN30, rising by 2.35%. The remaining gainers saw very small increases, all below 1%.
Securities stocks were mostly in the red today, with only a few managing to stay in the green. Insurance stocks fared no better, with BVH, MIG, BLI, and BIC all declining. In the oil and gas sector, BSR , PVC, PVD, and PVS also fell. Most other stock groups showed mixed performance, with a mix of gains and losses.
Foreign investors continued their net selling streak today, offloading 631 billion VND across the entire market. Specifically, they net sold 607 billion VND on the HOSE. TCB was the stock most heavily sold by foreign investors, with a value exceeding 103 billion VND. PVD followed with a net selling of 65 billion VND. Foreign investors also net sold 17 billion VND on the HNX and 7 billion VND on the UPCOM market.
