On the morning of September 5th, during the opening ceremony of the new academic year at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Tran Duc Tai, a new medical student and the only top-scoring student in Group B nationwide in 2025, represented the new students and shared his thoughts.

According to the valedictorian, each student who comes to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has their own reason: pursuing a childhood dream, continuing a family tradition, or simply wanting to dedicate themselves to helping others. "Despite our different starting points, we all share a common aspiration to serve the health of the people and contribute to the national healthcare system," Tài expressed.
Aware of the many challenges ahead, the male student affirmed that the support of the school, the dedication of the teachers, the sharing from senior students, and self-belief will be the motivation for the new students to overcome pressure and cultivate both the professional skills and character of a medical professional.
