Kinhtedothi - After two days of work, the question-and-answer session at the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly concluded successfully, completing all agenda items, with strong commitments in leadership, management, and administration.
The question-and-answer session took place on November 11th and 12th. Delegates focused their questions on three main groups of issues under the primary responsibility of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the Minister of Health , and the Minister of Information and Communications.

During the question-and-answer session, 136 delegates asked questions, 18 delegates debated, and 80 delegates who registered to speak were unable to do so due to time constraints. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , on behalf of the Government, reported, explained, and clarified issues under the Government's purview and directly answered questions from National Assembly delegates.
On the afternoon of November 12th, in his closing remarks at the question-and-answer session of the 8th National Assembly session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that the session's questions met practical requirements, addressing issues of concern to voters, the people nationwide, and National Assembly deputies; further affirming this as a direct and effective form of supreme oversight by the National Assembly.

According to the Speaker of the National Assembly, National Assembly deputies, through practical experience, have grasped the situation, carefully studied reports, raised issues, and engaged in concise and clear debates with specific questions such as: what is the viewpoint - when will it be implemented - when will it be completed - why is it delayed - what are the solutions - where does the responsibility lie? The content of the questions was basically within the scope of the interpellation, and many deputies had the opportunity to question. At the same time, National Assembly deputies frankly raised many such issues with the hope that the Government and relevant ministries and agencies would continue to implement more timely and effective solutions.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man noted that the Ministers and Heads of Departments demonstrated high responsibility, a firm grasp of their functions, duties, and the current situation of their respective sectors and fields, clearly and frankly answering many difficult and complex questions without evasion, clarifying many issues raised by National Assembly deputies; and proposing many solutions to overcome limitations in the future.
"There is a common point that government members repeatedly mentioned during this questioning session: sincere gratitude - serious consideration - acceptance of personal responsibility - determination to implement - and earnest hope that agencies and localities will strongly participate alongside the Government, Ministries, and sectors. I mention this to show that Ministers and heads of sectors always demonstrate seriousness, a willingness to learn, and effort in fulfilling their assigned responsibilities," Chairman Tran Thanh Man remarked.

The Speaker of the National Assembly stated that specific issues had been concluded in three interpellation sessions for each sector. Based on the questions from National Assembly deputies and the answers from members of the Government and heads of ministries, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will direct relevant agencies to prepare draft resolutions to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the closing session of this meeting.
"The questioning session was a great success with strong commitments in leadership, management, and administration; I urge the Ministers and Heads of Departments, with the spirit of 'saying what you mean and doing what you say immediately,' to build on the achievements, promptly overcome limitations and obstacles, and come up with new solutions to more effectively implement the set goals and tasks," emphasized National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
