Continue preparations for the 6th session of the National Assembly, ensuring quality.

In his closing remarks at the session, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai requested that the National Assembly's agencies closely coordinate with the Government's agencies to implement the conclusions of the National Assembly Standing Committee's (NA Standing Committee) session.

At the same time, we are making good preparations for the 4th Conference of National Assembly Deputies working in specialized committees, 15th term, which will open on August 28th, and continuing to prepare for the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly to ensure quality.

At this session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly gave its opinions on the explanation, acceptance, and revision of draft laws, including the draft Law on Water Resources (amended); the draft Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; the draft Law on Citizen Identification (amended); the draft Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; the draft Law on Telecommunications (amended), the draft Law on Real Estate Business (amended), the draft Law on Land (amended), and the draft Law on Housing (amended).

Comments were given on the following issues: the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Auctioning Assets, the draft Law on Social Insurance (amended); and the draft Resolution of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly stipulating that inspection agencies are allowed to retain a portion of the recovered funds discovered through inspections after depositing them into the state budget.

Conducting thematic monitoring on "The implementation of Resolution No. 88 and Resolution No. 51 of the National Assembly on reforming the curriculum and textbooks for general education".

Organize question-and-answer sessions on two groups of issues within the purview of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly also gave its opinion on the draft report summarizing the five-year implementation of Joint Resolution No. 403 dated June 15, 2017, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the Government, and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, which details the forms of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and considered the report on the National Assembly's work on citizens' petitions in July 2023.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly heard a report on the initial results of the National Assembly's thematic supervision on "The implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on the National Target Program on building new rural areas in the period 2021-2025, sustainable poverty reduction in the period 2021-2025, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030".

Provide feedback on the draft Monitoring Plan and report outlines of the Monitoring Teams, including: the National Assembly Monitoring Team on “The implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023”; the National Assembly Monitoring Team on “The implementation of Resolution No. 43 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies supporting the socio-economic recovery and development program and the National Assembly Resolutions on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023”;

The National Assembly Standing Committee's supervisory delegation on "The implementation of policies and laws on reforming the organizational and management system, improving the quality and efficiency of public non-business units in the period 2018 - 2023".

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly has passed a Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution 657 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, which specifically stipulates the positions and titles of People's Public Security officers with the highest rank of Lieutenant General and Major General, which are not yet regulated in the Law on People's Public Security;

Resolution on approving the Prime Minister's proposal for the appointment of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the period 2023-2026 .
