On May 30, in celebration of International Children's Day June 1, the Provincial Library coordinated with the Ninh Binh City Police Women's Association to organize the 2024 Summer Children's Reading Festival with the theme "Happy Summer - Good Books".
The festival was attended by more than 100 teenagers and children who are the children of officers and soldiers of Ninh Binh City Police and the Provincial Library. Participating in the festival, the children had the opportunity to experience reading books at the Children's Reading Room and the mobile library; listening to the sharing of how to choose books and reading methods from the Provincial Library staff to help them have useful experiences in choosing books and reading books every day.
During the festival, children participated in introducing and telling stories about books; playing games, answering questions related to books and receiving meaningful gifts from the program.
The festival is organized to continue and promote the beauty of reading culture among teenagers and children, at the same time promote activities to develop reading culture in the summer and create a healthy and practical playground in the summer for teenagers and children. At the same time, create a useful playground, create conditions for children to meet and exchange on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1.
