Seminar "Promoting AI application in education and training - Benefits and challenges" by SGGP Newspaper

Resolution 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development sets out the requirement of “comprehensive digital transformation, popularization and strong application of digital technology and artificial intelligence”. In this spirit, the Government issued Resolution 281/NQ-CP dated September 15, 2025 with 8 key tasks.

The application of AI is opening up great opportunities for personalized education , increasing self-learning ability, innovating teaching methods and promoting lifelong learning. However, it also comes with challenges of digital divide, AI ethics, data security and technology dependence.

In order to clarify the spirit of the resolutions, evaluate the implementation practices and propose solutions, this morning, October 25, at the headquarters of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department coordinated with Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper to organize a discussion "Promoting the application of AI in education and training - Benefits and challenges".

On the side of the Ministry of Education and Training, the program had the participation of Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc; Director of the Southern Center for Education and Training Development Le Thang Loi.

On the side of the Ministry of Science and Technology, there is Director of the Department of Social Sciences, Humanities and Natural Sciences ( Ministry of Science and Technology ) Tran Quoc Cuong.

On the side of the Ho Chi Minh City leaders, there was Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Anh Duc, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
