After nearly half a year of construction, the large construction site of the Can Gio coastal tourist urban area is always bustling with hundreds of machines, barges... operating continuously.

From above, looking down at Mui Dong Tranh, the scene of the construction site of the urban area reclaimed from the sea in Can Gio commune - Vinhomes Green Paradise appears vividly. New strips of land are stretching out to the sea, interspersed with hundreds of hectares of land leveled with dredgers, barges, and cranes operating busily.

At the border between the mainland and the reclaimed sea, the dyke system, service roads, material staging areas and construction management buildings have gradually appeared. The leveled land stretches for kilometers along the coast, demonstrating the massive scale and huge workload of the first phase of the project.

In subdivision A, the first roads have been paved, the internal traffic system is gradually becoming clear. This sign shows that the project has entered the infrastructure completion stage after a long period of leveling the ground.

Meanwhile, in subdivisions B, D and E, the construction site is simultaneously implementing the construction of the sewer system, road construction and sand pumping to level the ground.

Zones B and C are currently focusing on large-scale sand pumping, preparing the ground for high-rise buildings and key functional areas such as education and healthcare in the future.

The entire area is protected by a Geotube soft dyke system - giant geotechnical tubes filled with sand, which have the effect of reducing waves, preventing erosion and are friendly to the marine environment.

To reinforce weak ground, tens of thousands of cement-soil piles (CDM) have been constructed, helping to increase load-bearing capacity and ensure long-term stability for construction items.

For large-scale projects such as international transit ports, the investor plans to apply Caisson technology - an advanced method commonly used in modern maritime infrastructure projects around the world .

Can Gio coastal tourism urban area, commercial name Vinhomes Green Paradise, invested by Can Gio Urban Tourism Joint Stock Company (a member of Vingroup ), located in Long Hoa commune and Can Thanh town, old Can Gio district - now Can Gio commune, new Ho Chi Minh City. The project has a planning scale of about 2,870 hectares, of which more than 1,357 hectares is sea-reclamation area.

The project is planned with a population of nearly 230,000 people, capable of welcoming 8 - 9 million tourists per year.

When completed, Vinhomes Green Paradise will own a 108-storey tower, Blue Waves Theatre complex, golf course, 122-hectare entertainment area with Safari open zoo, and 5-star international port Landmark Harbour, creating a symbolic highlight for the southern coastal city of Ho Chi Minh City.
