Ho Chi Minh City adjusts traffic in District 1, preparing for the April 30th holiday

In the coming time, Ho Chi Minh City will restrict traffic on Pasteur and Le Duan streets to construct a grandstand to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Ho Chi Minh City will restrict traffic on Pasteur and Le Duan streets in Ben Nghe ward, District 1 to ensure order and traffic safety for the construction of stages and stands to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Ho Chi Minh City adjusts traffic in District 1 to prepare for the April 30th holiday.

Accordingly, phase 1: Gather equipment for all items at 30/4 Park; construct technical items and install stands B, C of the logistics area; install the base stand; install stand A and stand A tent. Time starts from March 22.

Construction site: Pasteur Street (section from Le Duan to Alexandre De Rhodes) , Ben Nghe Ward, District 1 .

Phase 2: From March 31 to May 12, construction site on Pasteur Street (section from Han Thuyen to Le Duan) , Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.

Phase 3: Removal of the median strip on Le Duan Street for rehearsals, preliminary rehearsals, general rehearsals, and the official parade and march. This will take place from April 17th.

Location: Le Duan Street (from Nguyen Binh Khiem to Cong Xa Paris Roundabout) , Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.

Time for dismantling, returning the site and re-establishing is from May 1st to May 12th.

Traffic Police Department guides alternative routes as follows:

Direction 1 (for Phase 1 construction) : Pasteur – Le Duan – Pham Ngoc Thach (or Hai Ba Trung) – Vo Thi Sau – go towards District 3, Phu Nhuan, Tan Binh (airport)…

Direction 2: Pasteur – Nguyen Du – Truong Dinh – Nguyen Thi Minh Khai – Go to District 3, 5, 10… or go to Truong Dinh to Hoang Sa, Truong Sa.

Direction 3: Pasteur – Han Thuyen – Cong Xa Paris – Le Duan – go towards Binh Thanh District, Thu Duc City.

Direction 4: Pasteur – Ly Tu Trong – Ton Duc Thang – towards Binh Thanh District, Thu Duc City.

Direction 5: Pasteur – Le Loi – Tran Hung Dao towards District 5, 11… or Le Loi – Le Lai – Pham Hong Thai – Cach Mang Thang Tam – towards District 3, 10, Tan Binh, Tan Phu…

Based on the actual situation, the Traffic Police Department will arrange forces to carry out traffic diversion appropriately, minimizing the impact on the daily lives of people traveling through this area.

Drivers participating in traffic through the above area and neighboring routes must reduce speed, comply with instructions from traffic police, traffic control forces or instructions from traffic signal systems on the road.
