Authorities have banned passenger buses with 16 seats or more from operating on Hoang Hoa Tham street (in the direction from Mai Xuan Thuong to Ngoc Ha) and on Ngoc Ha street (in the direction from Hoang Hoa Tham to Le Hong Phong).
The Hanoi Department of Construction has just announced a pilot plan to adjust traffic organization on roads in the Ngoc Ha and Hoang Hoa Tham areas to facilitate the arrangement of vehicles for citizens and international visitors going to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Specifically, authorities prohibit passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more (buses, and vehicles of the armed forces permitted to operate) from operating on Hoang Hoa Tham street (in the direction and section from Mai Xuan Thuong to Ngoc Ha) and on Ngoc Ha street (in the direction and section from Hoang Hoa Tham to Le Hong Phong).
Authorities also directed traffic for passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more traveling on Hoang Hoa Tham street (in the direction and section from Mai Xuan Thuong street to Ngoc Ha street) and on Ngoc Ha street (in the direction and section from Hoang Hoa Tham street to Le Hong Phong street) to follow the route Mai Xuan Thuong - Hoang Hoa Tham - Hung Vuong - Hoang Van Thu - Doc Lap - Chu Van An - Le Hong Phong - Ngoc Ha - Hoang Hoa Tham.
On Ngoc Ha Street, the Hanoi Department of Construction also prohibits cars from operating between 6:30 AM and 12:00 PM (buses and vehicles of the armed forces are allowed to operate) in the direction from Hoang Hoa Tham Street to Le Hong Phong Street.
On Le Hong Phong Street, vehicles with more than 16 seats are prohibited from making U-turns at the Ngoc Ha - Le Hong Phong intersection. The pilot program will run from March 29th to August 29th.
