According to information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07), at 1:08 AM, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 31 received a report of localized flooding affecting many households in Ben Cat Ward. Immediately afterwards, the unit dispatched 20 officers and soldiers along with specialized equipment to the scene. Simultaneously, Team 3 was also reinforced with 9 officers and soldiers and a rescue vehicle to provide assistance.


Under the direct command of Major Truong Phuong Duy, Deputy Team Leader of the Firefighting and Rescue Team Area 31, the rescue forces quickly approached three heavily flooded areas: Cau Doi neighborhood (Group 8), the area near Mai Thanh Wood Co., Ltd., and neighborhood 5.

After many hours of effort in fast-flowing water and heavy rain, authorities rescued and safely moved 127 people out of the danger zone, including many children and the elderly.
Thanks to timely and synchronous deployment, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force of Ho Chi Minh City helped people escape flooded areas safely, minimizing damage caused by floods.
