Camping in Malaysia, Nguyen Ngoc Minh had many interesting experiences during his trip to the country often referred to as "miniature Asia".
Before coming to Malaysia, Nguyen Ngoc Minh (born in 1995, living in Ho Chi Minh City), a travel blogger, had a 45-day camping trip. cross Vietnam From the South to the North with my small family.
Curious about how people in other countries go camping, Minh decided to connect with the community. camp He traveled to Malaysia and packed his bags to experience the "tropical paradise." For this unique journey, the young man in his 20s said he had absolutely no prior preparation, only bringing a few essential items along with his existing experience.

To begin his journey, Minh flew directly from Vietnam to Kuala Lumpur. Arriving around 8 pm, he was picked up by a friend at the airport and went straight to the "Sea of Clouds" campsite located in the Hulu Langat area, 20km from the city center.
This location is a campsite situated within a durian orchard, meticulously organized and arranged with separate areas and a road leading to the top. Each area is leveled to provide ample parking space for camping, and each campsite has toilets and sinks. The campsite he chose offers views of the valley and Kuala Lumpur city.

In the morning, the sea of clouds filled the view, and the cool, fresh weather made the Vietnamese tourist feel very relaxed. Mr. Minh was also quite surprised to witness such a mesmerizing sea of clouds from a location only about 200 meters above sea level.

Sharing his most memorable experience, Minh said: “The most interesting part of this trip was the driving experience. When driving in Malaysia, you sit in the opposite seat compared to Vietnam, so the driving feel is completely different. Besides that, the traffic culture in Malaysia is very civilized; they rarely honk their horns while driving, whether on highways or city streets.”

After his camping experience, the travel blogger realized that the geography and weather in Malaysia are quite similar to Vietnam. The way the locals provide services and choose camping locations is very meticulous and high-quality.
Furthermore, environmental awareness is very high in campsites and around the city center. Evidence of this is the clean streets and the minimal amount of litter seen by tourists.
The total cost for a 3-day, 2-night trip to Malaysia is approximately 4 million VND per person, including round-trip airfare. For safety reasons, travelers should network with camping communities in Malaysia to learn more about available campsites, how to rent camping equipment, or other related services.
