Speaking at the ceremony, the Director of the Consular Department congratulated Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan on being appointed as the first Honorary Consul of Grenada in Hanoi.
Believing that the Honorary Consul will make many practical and effective contributions to the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Grenada, especially consular cooperation, Director Doan Hoang Minh affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Vietnamese authorities will always accompany and support the Honorary Consul of Grenada in Hanoi to successfully complete his duties during his term.

For his part, Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan thanked Director Doan Hoang Minh for taking the time to receive him and hand over the Consular Acceptance Certificate. The Honorary Consul of Grenada in Hanoi affirmed that he will make every effort to contribute to promoting bilateral cooperation in the coming time, especially in areas of mutual interest such as investment cooperation, science and technology, people-to-people exchange, and travel between the two countries.
