Awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances in Doan Hung district

On January 17, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with the People's Committee of Doan Hung district and the Humanitarian Services for Children of Vietnam (HSCV)/USA to organize a scholarship awarding program for students in difficult circumstances in Doan Hung district.

Awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances in Doan Hung district Representatives of the organizing committee and Humanitarian Services for Children of Vietnam (HSCV)/USA awarded scholarships to students in difficult circumstances.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 scholarships, each worth 2 million VND, to 30 students in difficult circumstances in Doan Hung district. The total value of the program is 60 million VND, thereby encouraging the spirit of overcoming difficulties and excelling in studying of studious students. This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the organization's timely concern for students in difficult circumstances. Thereby contributing to encouraging them to strive, make efforts to study, practice, and become good citizens, useful to society.

Humanitarian Service for Children of VietNam (HSCV) is an American non-governmental organization operating in the fields of: Providing scholarships to students, providing school equipment, providing wheelchairs, supporting poor households and emergency aid, in Hanoi and Phu Tho. Through the connection of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, HSCV has implemented programs to donate bicycles, award scholarships to students in Cam Khe district and support 200 million VND to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
