(Baoquangngai.vn) - The Department of Home Affairs organized a conference to deploy and thoroughly implement Directive No. 05/CT-UBND dated April 8, 2025 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening the management of document and archive work in the process of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system according to Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Secretariat in the province.

The conference was held on the morning of April 15. Nearly 200 delegates attended the conference, including representatives of leaders and experts from the Department of Home Affairs; leaders of districts, towns and cities; the Department of Home Affairs and People's Committees of communes, wards and towns, and civil servants in charge of and monitoring the work of documents and archives in the districts of Mo Duc, Ba To, Minh Long, Nghia Hanh, Quang Ngai City and Duc Pho Town.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Dinh Thi Tra said that currently, on average, each district, town and city has about 1,200 meters of documents and each commune, ward and town in the province has about 80 meters of documents. This number of documents is very large and diverse in composition and content. Therefore, it requires guidance and professional support for agencies, organizations and localities when arranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a model of organizing the 2-level local government apparatus.


Based on that reality, the Department of Home Affairs organized 2 classes (April 15 and 16) to implement Directive No. 05/CT-UBND for nearly 400 delegates representing the leaders of the District People's Committee, the Office of the People's Council and the People's Committees of the districts, the Department of Home Affairs; leaders of the Commune People's Committees and civil servants in charge of and monitoring the work of documents and archives in communes, wards and towns in the province.

At the conference, delegates listened to the reporter present the contents and tasks in implementing Directive No. 05/CT-UBND and the contents on coordination between agencies, organizations and localities in managing document and archive work when not organized at the district level and merging some commune-level administrative units in accordance with local practices.


The conference aims to disseminate and guide the correct and complete implementation of regulations on document and archive management in the process of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system according to Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Secretariat in the province. Thereby, contributing to enhancing the responsibility of relevant agencies, organizations and individuals in protecting, safely preserving, fully handing over and receiving documents and databases formed during the operation of agencies, organizations and localities before, during and after the reorganization of the apparatus.
